A NEW INTEREST FOR MY SON AND I
We started with a 300.00 used KenBar Streaker cart. After we got the fever we sold the Streaker and several guns and bought a 3200 Yerf Dog and a Road Boss Wild Cat cart. Both carts came with 6 hp engines, 30 series torque converters and all terrain tires. Soon after we got them we started cutting trails.

This is the base model 3200 Yerf Dog.
Very nice factory cart. Has fully suspended frame with independant front suspension and a suspended trailing arm in back for the engine and drive train. Very fast and very smooth ride. Also handles well due to suspension. Notice heavy duty motorcycle shocks picked up at a boneyard for 2.50 each. Updates soon to come, new racing type bucket seat, lights and battery, better tires. |
ROAD BOSS WILDCAT BASE MODEL
Rock solid well built cart. 6 hp with torque converter. 18" all off-road tires in back. Everything about the cart seems well engineered and it is easy to work on. Small enough for an 8 year old but At 200+ pounds and 5'10" I ride it to. Pic soon to come. |

3200 Yerf Dog gets a new engine and drive train.
After a brief, but exciting, period of time with a Star 10 racing engine I decided on a powerplant with more reliability than raw power. Engine #2 is a 13 HP Honda OHV with electric start and a 10 amp charging system. This allows the use of offroad lights and other electrical gizmos. Plus it is a real joy to reach back and turn the key and the Honda springs to life. Now the cart has plenty of power, easy start and rugged reliability. |

INTERIOR CONTROLS AND BATTERY
I could not help myself. I had to get these pedals once I saw them in an auto parts store. Garden tractor battery is about the largest that would fit here. Plenty of cranking power for the 13 HP Honda and to drive the lights. The front plate is the perfect place for it.

MAXED OUT PROTOTYPE HYPERSPRINT
This baby has nearly twice the weight to horsepower ratio as the champion world ralley car and equal to the best Indy 500 cars. 900 cc Ninja water cooled engines or 1100 Kanta engines are typical. Fully suspened with over 18" of travel on A-arms and rear end. WOW!! Plus it will do it in the dirt. Hay a guy has to dream don't he? excuse me I have to be alone now for a while. |
